Downtown Businesses Ask Council to Reconsider

The people who run businesses on Main Street have spoken up, and their message is clear: the council needs to reconsider.

These are the shop owners, restaurant operators, and small business people who depend on a vibrant downtown every single day. Businesses like Em'z Blendz Soap Co. have been helping coordinate this effort and getting the word out.

Take Action Before Feb 18

There's a City Council meeting on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Medford City Hall, Council Chambers (Room 300), 411 W. 8th Street. This is the most effective way to make your voice heard.

Arrive by 5:45 p.m. to sign up for Public Comment.

If you can't make it in person, submit a written public comment to publiccomments@cityofmedford.org. It goes on the record.

The ask is simple: "Please revisit the tied vote."

Fifteen business owners showed up last time. Now it's our turn.
