Print These Flyers and Hand Them Out on Your Ride

We should have probably done this from the beginning. However, I guess we thought city council would just do the most reasonable thing. We keep running into cyclists around town who have no idea the city is removing the Main Street bike lane. I know it's amazing considering how much coverage this issue has taken up in the local news.

So we made a printable flyer. Four per page, cut them apart, and hand them out to riders you meet. Each one has a QR code that goes straight to bikemedford.org/#take-action, where they can email the council in about a minute.

How to use it

  1. Print the PDF.
  2. Cut along the lines. You get four flyers per page.
  3. Stuff a few in your bag or pockets.
  4. Hand one to anyone you see on a bike. Drop a few off at coffee shops or businesses you visit on Main St.

Why this matters

Council ratified Option 2A on May 20th. The two-way protected lane on Main Street is on its way out, and construction is slated for fall. Between now and then, the more people who know what is happening and contact their councilors, the better.

Most riders we talk to had no idea. Help us close that gap.
